Search for me

The AI arms race has left the job seeker behind.

There are a million and one services, prompts, and commiserations that come your way, and it’s all so draining. For the cost of what used to be a decent co-pay, I’ll take on your burden of dealing with dead web pages, shady ghost jobs, and also be your human AI wrangler, because we all know that shit gets tired fast.

How it works

Free to start. I take a few people at a time.

Tallgrass

A staffing software company

Who to talk to
Dana Okafor. You worked together at Larchmere Health in 2016. Her LinkedIn profile and the Tallgrass team page show she now leads operations there.
What’s open
A clinical operations lead job, posted on the Tallgrass website on Tuesday.
Why you
You ran schedules for 600 nurses and built a staffing dashboard. Tallgrass asks for both in the posting.
A first message
Hi Dana, it’s been a while since Larchmere. I saw Tallgrass is hiring a clinical operations lead, and I’d love ten minutes on what the team needs.
An example brief, with made-up names.

Let me be your beaver dam. I’ll keep the slop flood away long enough for you to take the time to reach out to people you know, who are looking for people like you, yes you!

That’s another part of this service. You leave the shit shoveling to me. Every time you want to blame yourself, just remember, you paid to blame me for a few weeks.

How it works

How’s this work?

I talk to you, figure out what worked before, and where your energy is today.

What then?

I take the time to dig into the bowels of the internet to surface people, places, and points of interest for you to pursue.

What if it doesn’t work?

At least you tried something different. God knows mashing the apply button on LinkedIn has done wonders for humanity.

But you said this costs money...

Yes, I figure charging what coaches do wouldn’t make sense, but spending time shoveling shit should be worth something. So pay me if this made a modicum of difference.

$50

for the two weeks, paid once at the end, and only if you say it helped.

No card needed to start, and no subscription.

What you get

End of week 1

Where to look

Companies
10 to 15 that need what you’ve done, each with the reason it fits.
Open jobs
Jobs open now at those companies, including ones under titles you wouldn’t have searched.
People you know
Where you have a way in through someone you know, or someone who could introduce you.

End of week 2

Three conversations

Briefs
For the three companies where you know someone best, what they need and where you fit.
Who to talk to
Each name checked on two public pages.
First messages
A draft for each. You decide whether to send it.

The fine print

What if I don’t know anyone at these companies?

Then I look for someone who could introduce you. If there’s no one, I say so, and those companies move down the list.

Do you apply for jobs for me?

No. You do the talking. I find where to look and who to ask, and I draft your first messages. I never contact anyone for you.

What happens to my LinkedIn data?

Your contacts file stays on my computer. Claude, the AI I use, reads it to match your contacts to companies. I delete your files 60 days after our last session.

How much of my time does it take?

A first call, then a page to read at the end of each week. You have the conversations when you’re ready.

Who are you?

I’m Moe. I spent 7 years in human resources, then about 10 designing government services.

Start your two weeks

Tell me who you are, and I’ll write to you to set up our first call.

Free to start. I use your email only for your search.
